Badges and Awards

The Beavers work towards various activity and challenge badges, which contribute to their Cheif Scout Bronze Award.

There are badges for a huge range of activities including snow sports, archery, athletics, creativity, cooking and even computer coding!

Who We Are

Our Beaver colony meets on a Wednesday night between 18:15 and 19:15 at St Fillans Church, Buckstone Drive. The emphasis with Beavers is very much fun and friends. Beavers is open to children aged 6 - 8 years old. Once your child is aged 4, you are able to sign up to our waiting list by completing the form on the joining page.

Beaver Uniform

The Beaver uniform can be bought from the scout association's website, or from the Guide shop on Coates Creasent (as shown on the map). Once your child has been to a few Beaver meetings and has learned about what is to be a Beaver, they will be invested and presented with the green necker and the core badges. The badges should be placed as per the diagram above.

You will also have the option of ordering one of our hoodies, which are useful when we venture out of the church hall.
